Twin Tunnels is a large seamount in the middle of the channel between Guadalcanal and the Florida Islands in the Solomon Islands. The site is named for two tunnels that cut into the seamount, and its bottom type is listed as cave.
The two tunnels drop vertically straight down from 12 metres and exit in a cave at 35 metres, which is the deepest point of the dive. Swimming out of the cave you reach the sheer wall of the seamount.
Schools of fusiliers gather along the wall, with grey reef sharks cruising by. The site is also home to some amazing coral, cuttlefish, octopus and mantis shrimp, plus schools of snapper, other tropical fish and an array of anemonefish.
