The Zenobia is a wreck dive site located off Larnaca, Cyprus, consistently ranked among the world's top five wreck dives. The ferry sank and now rests with its deepest point at 42 metres (41.3 m), offering extensive penetration opportunities throughout its various interior spaces, including cargo decks, accommodation quarters, a chain locker, and the engine room.
The wreck is a boat dive, reached by a five-minute journey from the nearest shore facilities. Mooring is available at the site. The profile of the wreck spans a range of depths, with technical divers working the bottom at 40 metres and recreational divers able to explore shallower sections; night dives are conducted at a maximum depth of 30 metres on non-decompression profiles with a maximum dive time of 60 minutes.
Current at the site is light and visibility is great, making conditions generally favourable. The clear blue waters around Larnaca contribute to the site's reputation for excellent underwater visibility.
The Zenobia suits a wide range of certified divers, though different sections carry different requirements. Recreational divers can explore the wreck up to 40 metres. Technical diving within the wreck requires a minimum of TDI Decompression Procedures/TEC 45 or equivalent, with all technical divers using either twinset or sidemount configuration and carrying a decompression stage; a 28% nitrox back gas and 50% decompression mix are the standard gases used for the bottom profile. Certain technical penetration routes are limited to a maximum of two divers per guide due to their complexity. Trimix is available for those certified and must be requested in advance. Night dives on the wreck require a minimum of four divers and advanced booking.
