Air Force Barge is a sunken retired military barge that now serves as an artificial reef, a wreck dive popular with divers from Fort Walton Beach on the Florida Gulf coast.
The wreck lies at around 80 feet (24 metres). Over time it has become a habitat for marine life, and angelfish, eels and small reef sharks are all seen around it.
Other artificial reefs, including the remains of the old Destin bridge, and natural limestone ledges lie in the same stretch of Gulf water.
