About this site
Arco Point is an intermediate dive on a steep wall near Alona Beach in Bohol, with depths of 5 to 11 metres. It is the furthest local dive site to the east.
The site is known for a small swim-through, a natural limestone tunnel also called the Hole in the Wall. It is narrow, so good buoyancy and a torch are useful. Reef fish, lionfish, schooling snapper and the occasional turtle are seen here, and divers have also reported macro critters, garden eels, moray eels, nudibranchs, frogfish, ribbon eels and scorpionfish.
Sea snakes occur here too. The water runs from 25 to 30°C, and the season is November to May.
