Atami is a dive area on the east coast of Izu in Japan, reached easily by train from Tokyo, and it is also known as a hot springs resort town. A shipwreck lies here and acts as a big artificial reef, drawing plenty of fish and sea life.
The wreck is used for wreck adventure dives for advanced open water divers. The wreck and other dive sites in the area, such as the pinnacles, are just a 10 minute boat ride from the harbour.
