Batee Tokong is an advanced reef dive off Pulau Weh, built around deep walls and a pinnacle that drops to 40 metres. The structure rises to a shallower point and falls away into open water, giving the site its dramatic vertical relief.
The walls and pinnacle attract a strong mix of pelagic and reef species. Reef sharks, barracudas, tuna, bigeye trevally, bluefin trevally, and giant trevally patrol the open water around the structure, while reef fish, nudibranchs, octopus, anemones, lionfish, and sweetlips inhabit the reef itself. Devil rays and manta rays appear seasonally.
Water temperature holds at 28–29°C year-round. Visibility is rated great, and the site is classed as difficult, making it appropriate for advanced divers comfortable with deep walls and the conditions that come with exposed pinnacle diving.
