Beverly Hills is a dive site on the outer Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia, consisting of a large offshore hole in the reef with a sandy bottom enclosed by a ledge, reaching a maximum depth of 24 metres. A defining feature is "the bait crack," a swim-through cave swarming with clouds of glassfish that leads through to an opening on top of the reef.
The enclosed ledge structure concentrates reef predators, with Coral Trout and Rankin Cod gathering here to feed on baitfish that shelter in the hole. Reef sharks, turtles, moray eels, rays, and large pelagic fish are all frequently spotted across the reef, and during certain times of year the broader Ningaloo area sees whale sharks, manta rays, and humpback whales pass through.
The site is reached by boat, and visibility can range from 5 to 20 metres depending on weather conditions and plankton levels in the water. The depth range across local sites runs from 8 to 24 metres, and Beverly Hills is suitable for all certification levels, including divers doing their first Discover Scuba experience.
