About this site
Bianca is a Lembeh Strait dive named for a huge white phinisi boat moored just off the shore. Divers enter the water next to the ship and descend a sandy slope dotted with coral outcrops, mainly sponge formations. It is a Lembeh style dive, going down to the maximum depth and zig-zagging back up.
Several species of frogfish can be seen in a single dive, along with nudibranchs, mantis shrimps and ribbon eels.
The treat comes at the end. As you shallow up there is a bank of staghorn corals with anemones hosting Banggai and pajama cardinalfish, and mandarin fish that can be seen in daylight if you wait quietly.
