About this site
Big Wall lies off Türkiye's southwestern coast, in the waters near Kaş on the Mediterranean, based on its given coordinates. The site sits over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, and is rated a beginner dive. Barracuda, grouper, and octopus are confirmed residents of the reef, and divers have also reported European parrotfish, flavimaculosus puffer, lionfish, Indian lionfish, moray eels, nudibranchs, Red Sea goatfish, red squirrelfish, reticulated leatherjacket, rivulated rabbitfish, scorpionfish, triggerfish, and tuna here. There have also been reports of a deep cave nearby, strong current, and divers pushing toward decompression limits, so anyone tempted beyond the main reef should keep those in mind.
