Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Cepu Island is a dive site off Langkawi, on a steep rocky bottom full of macro life, with a maximum depth of 14 metres and visibility that is great. The dive is rated advanced, and dives here are planned for up to 60 minutes.
A resident school of pickhandle barracudas shares the site with trevally, snappers and big groupers. A carpet of white and pink broccoli coral covers the slope and hides nudibranchs and seahorses. Whale sharks and mantas have also been reported, mostly in April, May and October.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
