Chapel Point (also called Apo Chapel) sits directly in front of the main docking area of Apo Island, the Philippines, taking its name from the only chapel on the island. The site features a small wall that begins at 5 m and descends to 25 m, with a coral garden plateau at the 5 m mark on top of the wall. Afternoon light reaches the reef at a particularly good angle, illuminating the shallow section's hard corals and large table corals alongside abundant reef fish.
The wall itself is draped in soft corals and gorgonian sea fans, and the shallow section includes caves. A notable small cave sits at around 18 m along the wall. Photographers and critter hunters will find nudibranchs, frogfish, leaffish, and ribbon eels distributed across the wall, with the cave at 18 m being a productive spot for the latter three.
The site suits beginners, with light current and a maximum depth of 25 m. The best diving season runs from November to May. Entry is by boat, with the dive site positioned just off the island's main docking area.
