Le Cimentier is a wreck between the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Cros, off Hyères in the south of France. It lies at the foot of the Jaune Garde lighthouse on Porquerolles, and the wreck is a former barge built of reinforced concrete.
The depth is shallow. The highest parts of the wreck sit at 6 metres (20 feet) and the deepest at 15 metres (50 feet), so the site is bright. You can explore the gutted hull from the moment you first descend.
Around the wreck you will find octopus and moray eels hiding in the small canyons and in the posidonia meadows. It is one of the few wrecks in the area that novice divers can reach, which makes it a good first wreck for beginners, and a relaxed shallow dive for anyone else who wants to look around the hull.
