Conchita is a dive in Wakatobi made up of three ridges leading away from the fringing reef, loaded with coral and separated by deep sandy bays. Depths run from the surface to 50 metres, and the dive is graded intermediate.
Turtles sit on the ridges, where the current gathers schools of fish at the exposed points, and eagle rays circle in the bays. Different types of reef sharks cruise the deep bottom between garden eels and soft corals. The site also suits rebreather divers, who can get close to the animals that shy away from open circuit bubbles.
