Darlington is a wreck on the Western Reef off Bermuda, the remains of an iron steamer that struck the reef in 1886. She was approaching the island with a hold full of cotton and grain when unfamiliar waters and a missing lookout sealed her fate.
She now rests on her port side in calm, shallow water. Her boilers, winches and propeller shaft are still easy to recognise, and her rudder points upward, breaking the surface on stormy days.
