About this site

Garden Eels is a dive off Panglao in Bohol, close to Alona Beach, and one of the most popular sites in the area because of that proximity. It is especially popular for night dives, with a sandy slope and a wall to explore.

The dive starts at about 5 m (16 ft) and goes down to 25 m (82 ft). A group of garden eels at the bottom gave the site its name. Warty frogfish, boxer shrimp, sponge crabs, nudibranchs and lionfish also turn up, with lots of macro life.
