HMS St. Lawrence is a historic warship wreck located in the Kingston area of Lake Ontario, Canada. She was built at a local shipyard constructed during the War of 1812 to produce warships for the British in order to control Lake Ontario and protect Upper Canada from American forces on the southern shore. Following the end of the war, HMS St. Lawrence, along with sister vessels HMS Prince Regent, HMS Princess Charlotte, and HMS Montreal, was abandoned and eventually sank.
Diving at this site falls under the stewardship of a local shipwreck protection organisation whose purpose is the preservation, cataloguing, and promotion of responsible wreck diving in the greater Kingston area. Moorings are maintained at the site, and divers are encouraged to support those conservation efforts.
