Jungle is a semi-muck dive site characterised by a varied terrain that moves from a slope to a wall and then out to a flat, sandy bottom. Visibility is generally low because the seabed is quite silty, so divers should come prepared for close-range observation rather than wide panoramas.
The site's main draw is macro life, and the silty, sandy substrate is precisely what makes it productive for small, cryptic species. Turtles and Napoleon wrasse pass through the reef on a regular basis, adding larger animals to what is otherwise a detailed, magnifying-glass style of diving.
