Keyhole is a channel dive on Roatan, of the type found where lagoon water mixes with the ocean and tides have eroded deep channels into the reef. It has ample wall space and overhangs.
The reef guides you into a channel that gradually descends to 30 m (100 feet), with walls on either side that reach all the way up to break the surface. Once through the channel, near the buoy, it widens and opens to the reef, with a variety of soft corals and an abundance of marine life.
Swim-throughs. There is a set of three swim-throughs at 15 m and 9 m (50 and 30 feet) that suit everyone. For advanced divers there is a swim-through in the channel at 27 to 30 m (90 to 100 feet), so the site is rated technical.
