About this site
Lazy Wave is a reef site at Gili Rengit, east of Lombok, Indonesia, with a depth of 25 to 30 m. It is dived as a reef slope and suits beginners.
Reef life. The slope carries healthy, bright soft corals. Look for feather stars, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, anemone shrimps, porcelain shrimps, crabs, turtles, cuttlefish and trumpetfish.
Night dive. After dark the site changes. Glowing comb jellies shimmer in the water, mandarinfish perform their dusk-time display, and tiny bobtail squid glide through the dark and light up as they hunt. This makes it a good place for beginners to try a night dive.
