Rainbow Reef is a reef dive in Hawaii, with depths of 23 to 65 feet (7 to 20 metres). There is no current here, and the site holds a large amount of marine life.
The fish are used to human contact and tend to approach divers rather than keep their distance. Spotted puffer fish, moray eels, porcupine fish, Moorish idols, fantail filefish and triggerfish are all seen on the reef, which gives the dive a lot to watch from the first minutes.
Confirmed by our research team, reported by independent divers, or observed nearby via iNaturalist — each entry is labelled with its source.
