Rodeo 25 is a wreck south of Hillsboro Inlet, less than 2 miles offshore from Pompano Beach, Florida. She is a 215 foot (66 m) twin-masted Dutch freighter built in 1956, and she lies near the RSB-1 and the Lady Luck. The depth range is 90 to 140 feet (27 to 43 m), and the dive is rated advanced.
After about three decades as a cargo vessel she was deteriorating and was turned into an artificial reef. She was prepared for penetration and loaded with drums of ether seized in raids on illegal drug labs. The county bomb squad detonated the drums and she went to the bottom in May 1990 while tens of thousands of spectators watched. Her name marks the 25th anniversary of the Pompano Beach fishing rodeo.
Hurricane Irma, in September 2017, shifted the wreck and pushed her slightly onto her starboard side. Her main deck deteriorated further and now rests in pieces at 113 feet (34 m). The seafloor beside her is at 125 feet (38 m).
