Shaab Nakari is a reef dive site located at Marsa Nakari in the southern Egyptian Red Sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of 35 m and features a reef bottom with varied terrain.
The reef supports a diverse range of marine life, including soft corals, table corals, and sea fans alongside resident fish such as fusiliers, anthias, and glassfish. Moray eels, lionfish, and scorpionfish are present, as are larger pelagic visitors including barracuda, trevally, reef sharks, and dolphins. Whale sharks have been recorded at the site, with a notable encounter documented in October 2022.
Conditions at Shaab Nakari are generally good, with great visibility and light current, making it manageable for intermediate divers. The site is exposed to waves and surge, however, and is best dived in calm weather. It is rated as an intermediate-level dive.
