Shuab Bay lies along the coastline of Socotra island, Yemen, in the Arabian Sea off the coast of the Horn of Africa. The island's isolated position has made its surrounding waters known for a range of coral and reef habitats influenced by open ocean currents. The site itself is a wreck dive reaching a maximum depth of around 18.3 metres, rated intermediate, with a wreck bottom and strong current to contend with. Divers have reported barracuda, eagle rays, grouper, guitarfish, nurse sharks, and trevally around the structure. Wreck penetration is possible here, and combined with the strong sea currents reported at the site, it pays to move through the structure with care.
