Silent Beach is a shore dive on the island of Krk in Croatia, off what is described as the most beautiful beach on the island. The beach is surrounded by pine trees and the water is clear with a turquoise glow. The site is suited to beginners.
You can walk into the water in a few steps from equipment platforms. The entry area is flat, which makes it good for training dives.
South side. After only a few metres a steep face begins, where giant spider crabs are always found. Several large yellow seahorses live in the central area of the bay.
North side. On the left a gently sloping plateau holds one or more hidden seahorses. Gurnards run over the white sand bottom, which is covered with many large tubeworms. It is a good choice for divers who prefer to stay shallow and have more time to look around.
