Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Steps is a multi-level reef dive on the Western Seaboard, and the layout matches its name. The top of the reef lies at only about 8 metres and is covered in dense marine life.
Swimming away from the middle of the reef, divers meet a couple of drops that form the steps. Because the dive runs across several levels, the depth changes in stages as the reef falls away, and the marine life along the way is extremely colourful.
