The Hole is a reef dive site off Providencia, a small Colombian island in the western Caribbean that forms part of the San Andrés and Providencia archipelago, separated from its larger neighbor San Andrés by a channel. The surrounding waters lie within the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve, a protected system of reefs and cays, and the site is typically reached by a short boat trip from one of the coastal towns. It sits over a reef bottom and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported Atlantic blue tang, redband, stoplight, and striped parrotfish moving over coral growth that includes lettuce coral and mustard hill coral.
