About this site
The Long Drop is a pinnacle dive on the seaward side of Okorotere Island, inside the marine reserve. The top of the pinnacle sits at 7 metres.
The terrain is boulders with good drop offs, and the walls are covered in jewel anemones, with pelagic fish passing by. That mix of boulders, walls and open-water fish is why it is counted among the top dives in the reserve.
