Train Wreck is a historic wreck on the Devil's Backbone reef, roughly 8 kilometres (five miles) north of Harbour Island. It holds the remnants of a steam locomotive that went down with its transport barge in 1865.
The wreck rests in shallower water than the nearby steamer Cienfuegos, so surface intervals can be spent here before a second dive returns to the larger ship. Several wrecks lie close together on this reef, and operators can build different itineraries around them depending on conditions.
