Aiyabe Thila is a thila (submerged reef pinnacle) in North Malé Atoll, Maldives, characterised by beautiful overhangs between 3 m and 25 m depth. The reef structure features abundant gorgonians alongside its overhanging formations, making it a site worth revisiting on consecutive dive days.
Grey reef sharks are encountered here at times, and gorgonians are a consistent feature of the reef. Entry is by boat, as the site is included on liveaboard itineraries operating in North Malé Atoll.
