Cala Blanca Bay is a sheltered bay dive site on the island of Menorca in the Balearic Islands, Spain, serving as the house reef for the local dive centre just steps from shore. The bottom is sandy, reaching a maximum depth of 18 m, and the reef structure offers swim-throughs along with nooks and crannies to explore. Night dives are regularly conducted here.
The site is well suited to beginner divers and course training thanks to its sandy bottom, light current, and protected exposure, though divers of all levels find it worthwhile. The best season runs from June to October, with water temperatures between 20 and 25 °C and generally good visibility.
Marine life sheltering in the reef includes stingrays, octopuses, clams, and starfish, as well as salpas, castañuelas, bogas, doncellas, fredis, antias, salmonetes, raors, salpes, castanyoletes, and bogues. The sandy areas and reef crevices provide refuge for a broad range of Mediterranean species.
Entry is from shore. Divers should be aware that the site contains cave features; cave exploration requires appropriate training and experience, and unprepared divers should stay within the open swim-throughs and avoid overhead environments.
