Caravan Reef is a large area of granite reef on the Cape Peninsula near Cape Town, in the Western Cape of South Africa. It lies to the north east of the slipway at Miller's Point, so it is very close to the launch area.
Given that closeness, it might be expected to be popular, yet it is largely unexplored. The neighbouring wreck of the SAS Pietermaritzburg is by contrast one of the most frequently dived sites on the Cape Peninsula.
