About this site
Creole Rock is a snorkeling and dive site located within the Natural Reserve of Saint Martin, one of the most popular spots on the island for exploring the underwater world. The site sits inside the reserve and is accessible by boat, with departures operating from both Anse Marcel and Grand Case Beach Club.
The site reaches a maximum depth of 18.3 metres, making it well suited to beginners and those with basic swimming ability. The bottom type is noted as wreck, and the protected waters of the natural reserve setting shape conditions at the site.
Marine life at Creole Rock includes Sergeants Majors, parrot fish, angel fish, and colourful butterfly fish found throughout the site. Sea turtles are also reported in the area, with a 99% chance of spotting them cited across visits to this site and the nearby Tintamarre.
