Dived here today? How were conditions vs. what we showed?
Crumb Rock lies off the coast of County Sligo, in Ireland's Connacht region, on the exposed Atlantic seaboard of the northwest coast. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 35 metres, consistent with the scattered rock outcrops and reefs typical of this stretch of shoreline. Divers have reported Atlantic black sea cucumbers, common sea stars, Devonshire cup coral, European edible sea urchins, and spiny starfish on the rock and reef ground here. Conditions are shaped by the open Atlantic, and the surrounding seabed reflects the rugged, rock-strewn character of this part of the west coast.
