About this site
Dofí Nord is a dive site located within the Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park, off L'Estartit on the Costa Brava, Girona. It is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of 23 metres, suited to all levels including beginners, though it also features caverns that offer more challenging options for advanced divers.
The wall hosts a solid range of Mediterranean species, including dusky groupers, moray eels, spiny lobster, and red coral. Divers should be aware of caves and caverns along the site, which present a hazard for those without appropriate training or experience.
As part of the Medes Islands Natural Park, the site operates under a quota system; booking in advance is strongly recommended during summer when access is restricted to manage visitor numbers and protect the reserve.
