Don Pedro is a wreck dive off Ibiza, Spain, near the port, and at 142 m long one of the largest shipwrecks in the Mediterranean. The dive starts at about 25 m and goes down to 46 m, with another listing giving 26 to 47 m, so it is only for experienced Advanced Open Water divers because it is a very deep dive. It was named among the 100 best dive sites in the world in 2010.
The Don Pedro was a freighter carrying cargo and passengers on the route from Ibiza to Denia. At half past three in the morning on 11 July 2007, shortly after leaving the port, she sank after colliding with a shoal off the small island of Dado Pequeño. All twenty crew were unhurt. Since the sinking the wreck has quickly established itself as one of the best wreck dives in the world.
