Gail's Mountain is a coral formation off Cayman that sits on the edge of the drop-off, with a maximum depth of 100 feet (30.5 metres). It is the only formation of its kind known to exist off Cayman.
The formation measures around 250 feet (about 76 metres) across at its base and rises to within 40 feet (about 12 metres) of the surface, where the top is flat. Two coral canyons flank it and spill over the wall.
