Ginama Point is an artificial reef in the Coral Cove area of Dauin, built from numerous truck tires that have sat on the seabed for more than a decade. Ginama means man-made in the local dialect. The tires are completely covered in corals and sponges, and the maximum depth is 20 m.
It is an excellent hideout for frogfish, unusual shrimps and colourful nudibranchs, and a seagrass area nearby is worth searching for other special finds. It is also a great night dive.
