Gurgusum Beach lies along the Red Sea coast of Eritrea, a short distance north of the port city of Massawa. It is known locally as a calm, shallow stretch of shoreline rather than a dedicated dive destination. Divers in the area have reported Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins passing through these waters.
