About this site

Heritage Row is a dive site at Pulau Bidong, an island off the east coast of Terengganu in Malaysia. The dive runs from 10 to 16 metres over a sandy bottom and coral, with light current and good visibility.

The site is calm, which makes it a common first dive for newer divers. Big eye snappers gather here in large schools, Jenkins rays move across the sand, and blue-spotted stingrays rest on the sandy patches among plenty of reef fish living in the coral.

Bidong is reachable from March to October, and the northeast monsoon from November to February brings rough crossings. Visibility is best from April to August, and water temperatures stay between 27 and 30 degrees Celsius.
