The Kamloops is a Canadian package freighter that sank in a storm in December 1927 off Isle Royale in Lake Superior, with the loss of her entire crew. She lies on her side along a steep slope near Twelve O'Clock Point, with the hull spanning a wide depth range down the wall. The cold fresh water of Lake Superior has kept the wreck remarkably intact, and divers encounter machinery, the engine room, and even human remains still aboard, which makes it a sobering dive. Visibility is often good.
