About this site
Koh Yak is a small island dive site in the Koh Rang area, surrounded by a coral reef that suits both beginners and more experienced reef divers. The site offers ample dive time at shallow depths, with a maximum depth of 15 metres and generally relaxed conditions that make it accessible to new divers.
The reef wraps around the Yak Islands and provides a coral-covered underwater landscape. Visibility ranges from 5 to 20 metres depending on conditions.
Marine life at Koh Yak includes cobia, lionfish, schools of fusiliers, and yellowtail barracuda.
