Kyen Point is a dive site built around two pinnacles separated by a sand channel, suited to beginner divers and offering reliably good visibility.
The terrain consists of the two pinnacles with a sand channel running between them. A large wall of strawberry anemones forms a prominent feature and provides habitat for a wide variety of invertebrates. Diving is best timed for mid-to-high tide, as sudden currents and cold temperatures are hazards to plan around; sharp rocks also call for care during the dive.
Wolf eels and octopus are permanent residents of the site. Sea lions and seals occasionally visit, and the strawberry anemone wall shelters crabs, sea cucumbers, sea stars, and other small invertebrates and fish.
