La Galleria is a dive site on the coast of Sardinia, between Cala Luna and Cala Sisine, reached by a boat ride of about 25 minutes south of the port of Cala Gonone. The dive lasts around 45 minutes and reaches a maximum depth of 14 m.
Terrain: the underwater scenery is varied and colourful. Two features stand out, a cave and a fully submerged tunnel, which is the gallery that gives the site its name.
Marine life: scorpionfish, moray eels, groupers, slipper lobsters and large octopus are all seen here. The main draw is the nudibranchs that live in the tunnel, brightly coloured molluscs in fluorescent shades.
Who it suits: an Open Water Diver certification or equivalent is the minimum needed for this site.
