Marco Polo is a submerged, atoll-style reef located at Sipalay, rising from deeper surrounding water. The formation is covered with healthy hard and soft corals, and its structure draws schools of reef fish, while larger fish may pass through the open water around it.
Visibility at Marco Polo is generally good, making it a well-regarded site for wide-angle underwater photography. The site suits experienced divers and is considered one of Sipalay's signature dive spots.
