Massmount is a shore dive in Mulroy Bay in County Donegal, Ireland. It can be dived only with the consent of the landowners.
The dive starts on an initial rock wall that gives way to a muddy seabed at 20 m. Depths run from 7 to 20 m, and the site has striking plant life. Gobies and blennies are especially common. Night diving here is something special.
Access needs care. The road is narrow, so drive cautiously and do not block entrances to the houses. It is a shore dive, but boats can be launched from across the bay. The bay is busy with other users, so watch for marker buoys and shellfish farming areas and keep your speed down. Divers have not caused the locals any problems.
