Momo Beach is a shallow shore-entry reef site on Panglao Island in the Philippines, known for its relaxed atmosphere and easy access compared to many of the island's busier snorkelling spots.
Entry is directly from the beach, with high tide making the walk into the water noticeably more comfortable. A short swim from shore reaches a healthy shallow reef of coral formations and reef fish, with calm, clear conditions on good days.
The site suits beginners and casual snorkellers well: currents are light, the exposure is protected, and no advanced equipment or experience is needed to explore the reef.
Sea turtles pass through the reef with enough regularity to make the swim worthwhile, though sightings are not guaranteed on any given visit.
