Moonstone Cove is a snorkeling and diving site along the coastline of Catalina Island, California, situated a short distance down the shore from Two Harbors. It sits off the beaten path compared to Avalon's more frequented spots, and boat transport is required to reach it.
The site is rated beginner difficulty and is well suited to snorkelers as well as divers, with marine life described as sure to amaze. Boat tours to the cove run in June, July, and August, and the passage out offers the possibility of encountering whales and dolphins en route.
