Nat-Nat is a colourful reef slope close to town in El Nido's Bacuit Bay, serving as the area's house reef and a regular stop for training dives. Shallow terraces of hard coral extend from the beach, broken up by sandy lanes that keep navigation straightforward, with the reef running from the shallows down to around 28 m (maximum 29 m).
The reef hosts green turtles, stingrays, and octopus as common visitors, along with helmet gurnard and jawfish — known locally as tabanka — which are considered resident species here. Dugong encounters have grown more frequent in recent years and are now one of the site's notable draws, with eagle ray also sighted.
Nat-Nat suits all certification levels, including beginners and students, thanks to its gentle slope, sandy navigation lanes, and typically light current. Occasionally currents pick up and it can become a drift dive. Entry is from the beach, with the shallow terraces starting immediately offshore.
