Nudi Rock is a small rocky outcrop in the Misool area of Raja Ampat, Indonesia, known as one of the most concentrated nudibranch sites in the Indo-Pacific. The site is a compact rock formation dived from the surface down to a maximum of 18 m, with the shallowest point at around 3 m, giving a modest but varied depth range across the rocky terrain.
The rock is exceptionally dense with nudibranch species — over 60 have been recorded here — with Chromodoris, Nembrotha, Phyllodesmium, and Halgerda all present, making it a natural draw for macro photographers. Beyond nudibranchs, the site also holds frogfish, pygmy seahorses, grey reef sharks, groupers, and yellowtail barracudas.
Current at Nudi Rock is gentle, and the depth range suits all certification levels, including beginners. The site is diveable year-round, with October through April bringing the calmest seas and best visibility, which runs 25–40 m across the Raja Ampat region during that period.
