Panabolon

Panabolon is a mixed natural and artificial reef site located at approximately 9°09′40.54″N, 123°14′46.57″E. The artificial portion consists of truck tires that have become overgrown with soft and hard corals, providing shelter for a variety of small creatures. The natural reef section combines with this structure to create a sandy slope that descends to around 17 m, with a maximum depth of 19.3 m.

The site is well suited to relaxed, critter-focused diving. Leaffish are a highlight, and blennies are regularly found hiding inside wine bottles on the reef. Mandarin fish can be observed displaying their courtship behaviour during late afternoon dives.

Panabolon is considered a straightforward, easy dive and is a good choice for divers who enjoy slow-paced macro observation rather than dramatic topography or strong currents.
